We are happy you have selected Richard Mazour’s Dental Office to serve your dental health needs. Our staff works together as a dedicated team, so we can ensure quality service.
With professional experience, a compassionate staff, and a respect for the total person, our office will enhance overall health and greater self-esteem.
Office Hours
Our regular office hours are: Monday-Thursday 8:00-12:00 & 1:00-5:00 Our office is closed on Fridays, weekends and major holidays and at times when the doctor and staff are attending continuing education programs to keep abreast of the latest dental care developments.
Appointments 
We will do our best to keep our appointment schedule. However, please understand that not all patients require the same amount of time with the doctor and that emergencies do occur, so some delays are unavoidable. We will do our best to keep you informed of delays. Your patience in these situations will be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify the office as soon as possible. We also make it a custom to let our patients know of any openings which occur in our schedule from time to time. Many have commented that it was an unexpected convenience to be able to complete dental treatment earlier than anticipated.
Registration
On your first visit to our office and annually thereafter, you will be asked for basic information to establish or update your medical record and business account. Please bring your current insurance information each time and notify our office of any changes in name, address, phone number, or insurance as soon as these changes occur.
Financial Arrangements
Payment is expected at the time of service, however we are sensitive to your financial circumstances within the framework of sound financial practices. We offer and accept Care Credit for those that would like to make payments. We want to be concerned with your dentistry, not financial responsibilities.
Insurance
Our business office will submit primary insurance claims for you, subject to you having given us current information prior to the service being provided. Policy coverage varies from one insurance plan to another, as do the “usual, customary and reasonable” fees that various insurance plans have established. Our contractual arrangement is with you, our patient, not your insurance company. Should there be a dispute related to the service provided or the charge for that service, the settlement of that dispute with your insurance carrier is between you and your insurance carrier. We will do what we can to help you with your dispute, but the final responsibility for the services provided to you is yours.
Emergency Care 
We reserve a limited amount of time each day so that emergency patients may be scheduled quickly. If you have a problem requiring emergency treatment, please call us as early in the day as possible. Should any emergency occur after office hours, the doctor can be reached by calling the office at (402) 223-5109 – Our emergency number will be on the recording as it is subject to change.
Upon completion of your dental treatment, we will place you in our continuing care program and pre-schedule you for your Periodic Recall. These appointments are designed to prevent little problems from becoming big or expensive ones. Preventive dentistry is the best and least expensive dentistry, but it is too easily overlooked or postponed. Don’t Miss Your Checkup! If you think you may be overdue for this important service, please call and we will verify it for you.
